Zb Brock

ZB Brock, 90 of Stoney Fork, went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, August 26, 2021, at his home. He enjoyed serving the Lord. He was born in Stoney Fork on August 10, 1931, a son of the late, Felix and Judy Caldwell Brock. ZB enjoyed his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. ZB worker as a logger, in surface mining and was a night watchman for Straight Creek Mining. He had just celebrated his 90th birthday on August 10th. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Nellie Cox Brock; sons, Burley Brock and Kenneth Brock; daughter-in-law, Faitha Jean Perry Brock; son-in-law, Johnny Murray; grandchildren, Robert Dewayne Saylor, John Kevin Brock, Tina Jenell Brock, Freddrick G. Brock and Joshua Murray; brothers and sisters, Lillie Mae Brock, China Ellen Brock Cox, Felix Brock, Jr., James Brock, Maudie Brock Caldwell and Milburn Brock. ZB is survived by his children and their spouses, Delores and Jordan Saylor, Sol and Somer Brock, Willene Murray, Judy and Jerry Lewis, Chesney and Jerry Mills, ZB Junior and Margie Brock, Belva and David Scruggs, Fred and Rosetta Brock, Randy and Norma Brock, Goldie and Darryl Saylor and Elmer Brock; daughters-in-law, Sharla Brock and Dellene Brock; thirty-three grandchildren, thirty- three great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Annie Brock Helton and Sarah Brock Helton; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Jenson Pentecostal Church in Jenson with Rev. Richard Asher, Rev. Demus Couch and Rev. Jordan Saylor presiding. Music will be provided by the church family. Burial will follow in the Brock Family Cemetery with grandsons and great-grandsons serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Arnett & Steele Funeral Home in Pineville, then will move to Jenson Pentecostal Church for visitation until the funeral hour at Jenson Pentecostal Church.
