Wyllie Dean Nicley

Wyllie Dean Nicley, Sr., 71, of Harrogate, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at his home. He was born in Anderson County, Tennessee on November 20, 1946, and was the son of the late Otis and Hazel Bailey Nisley. He had been a truck driver for Ace Motors Transportation, before operating his own trucking company until his retirement.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Jackie Nisley, Robert Mantooth, Paul Mantooth, Vivian Tawney, and Dianne Bentley.

Survivors include his children, Scottie Nicley and wife, Vickey of Ewing, VA., Cheryl Hash of Monroe, MI., Diane Lester and husband, Jimmy of Tazewell, and Wyllie Nicley, Jr. and wife, Mary of Monroe, MI; grandchildren, Ethan Nicley, Stephanie Hash, Tiffany Hash, Logan Lester, Brandon Nicley, Kaitlyn Nicley and Peyton Nicley; the mother of his children, Billie Jean Nicley; sister, Wanda Pliske; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be at 7:00 PM on Thursday, February 1 with Rev. Tim Cosby at Recce Funeral Home. Graveside services will be on Friday, at 9:00 AM at the Harrogate Cemetery.
