Woodrow E. Chumley age 90 of Cumberland Gap passed away June 29th 2007. He was born March 6th 1917 to the late Van Weams & Dellar Bussell Chumley. He was a member of Underwood Grove Baptist Church and Shawanee Masonic Lodge #546. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by Wife; Sarah Dephew Chumley, Brothers: Otis, Lewis, George, Henley, Estel and John Chumley. Sisters: Agnes Gordon and Minnie Powell.

He is survived by:

Sons: Cordice (& Ann) Chumley of Shawanee and James Chumley of Cumberland Gap.

Brothers: Fred, Haynes, Harley and Clyde Chumley

Sister: Hassie Lay

Grandchildren: Susan (& Spencer) Ruggiero, Toni (& Bruce) Stanhope, Darrell (& Leslie) Chumley, Kenny (& Gail) Chumley.

Great-grandchildren: Tyler and Victoria Stanhope, Grayson and Teddi Anne Robinson, Sarah, Thomas, Jessica, and Dakota Chumley, and Josh Graves.

Several nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.

Funeral service will be 10 am Monday, July 2nd at Underwood Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Marvin Simmons officiating. Music by Frank Chumley, Phillip Powers & Chris Wilburn.The family will receive friends Sunday from 5-8pm at Reece Funeral Home with a Masonic service at 8pm. Burial in The Chumley Cemetery. Pallbearers: Kenny Chumley, Eddie Chumley, Jake Hawkins, Jerry Chumley, Kelley Chumley, and Steve Chumley. Honorary pallbearers: Tyler Stanhope, Grayson Robinson, Thomas Chumley and Dakota Chumley.
