Winston Leon Asher

Winston Leon Asher, 76, of Beverly, KY passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at UT Medical Center, Knoxville. He was born on December 4, 1942 a son of the late Edgar Ray and Clara Bowens Asher. Winston served his country in the US Army and had been a coal miner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Ralph Owen Asher and sisters, Margaret Lawson, Willa Mae Ulbrick and Gwendolyn Smith. Survivors include his children, Shaun Asher, Margaret Asher and Timothy Asher; grandchildren, Jacob Asher, Christy Smith, Kenston Barrett and Samantha Asher; great-grandchildren, Spencer, Noah and Brooklyn Smith; brothre, Edgar Dillion and wife, Lucy Asher; sister, Joyce Johns and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends. Services will be on Thursday, December 5, at 12 Noon with Mr. Michael Brock. Burial will follow in the Little Creek Cemetery at Beverly. Pallbearers will be Mike Brock, Billy Asher, Cody Asher, Kenston Barrett, Edgar Dean Asher, Eric Asher and Corey Asher. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Asher Family.
