Wilma Jo Rhodes Stewart, 83 of Pineville, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at the Middlesboro Nursing & Rehabilitation Facility. She was born in Greasy Creek on June 2, 1938, a daughter of the late Joe Elmer and Eula Fuson Rhodes. Wilma was a believer in the Baptist Faith and had attended Moss Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. She had been a homemaker but was honored to volunteer for many years, with Interfaith of Bell County and the Sister Marjorie Learning Center. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Stewart; her first husband, Oakley Gambrel; and her siblings, Wanda Lee Rice, Joyce Gulley, and Eugene Rhodes. Wilma is survived by her children, Frank Gambrel, Glenn Duane Stewart and wife, Teresa, Bryan Stewart and wife, Heather, and Krystal Keyes; grandchildren, Oakley Gambrel and wife, Courtney, Leslie Gambrel, Makayla Keyes, Peyton Keyes, and Baylor Renn Stewart; and a host nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM on Friday, March 4, 2022 at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. W. Terrell Gibson presiding. Music will be provided by Donna Stewart. Burial will follow at the Partin Cemetery in Pineville with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the Middlesboro Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility Staff. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Stewart Family.
