Wilma Joyce Smith Blevins

Wilma Joyce smith Blevins, 68, of New Tazewell, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at her son's home in Harrogate, TN. She was born in Kettle Island, on July 22, 1948 a daughter of the late Birchel and Nancy Baker Smith. She believed in the Pentecostal Holiness Faith and had been a homemaker. She dedicated her life to her faith and her children. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Allen Dean Blevins; brothers, Ralph Smith and Ray Smith, sisters, Mae Hubbard and Deanna Brock. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Arthur Vincent and Dora Blevins, Birchel Ray and April Blevins, Scotty Dewayne and Melissa Blevins, April Maria and Jerome Fergerson, Phillip Lee and Rebecca Blevins, Leslie Renee and Scott Barker, Joshua Caleb and Tabatha Blevins and Joyce Allison Blevins; grandchildren, Deonte Jerome Fergerson, Jaidan Maria Fergerson, Courtney Page Blevins, Tyler Vincent Blevins, Birchel Ray Blevins, Jr., Carson Dean Blevins, Charley Allan Blevins, Samantha Renee Blevins, Kayla Joyce Blevins, Megan Nicole Blevins, Raegan Faith Blevins, John Philyaw, Brittnay Philyaw and Jenny Philyaw; two great-grandchildren; brother, William Smith and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 1:00 PM Monday at the Jenson Pentecostal Church with Rev. Demus Couch, Rev. Donald Wilson and Rev. Ronnie Hoskins. Music will be by the church family and special friends, Nathan and Tawanna Frye. Burial will follow in the Blevins Family Cemetery at Kettle Island. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family will gather with friends after 6:00 PM Sunday at the Jenson Pentecostal Church.
