William Edgar Sharpe

William Edgar Sharpe, 80, of Harrogate, TN, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at his home. He was born in Middlesboro, Kentucky on February 15, 1935, and was a son of the late Edgar Paul and Lillian Cochran Sharpe. He retired after having worked for the Conrail Railroad System and as a Laborers Union worker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded death by two sons, one daughter, one grandson, one great- grandson, one brother and three sisters. Survivors include his children JoJo (David Rice) Johnson, Joyce Goode, Dawn Goode, Reaha Church, Bardia (George Harris) Sharpe, Gail Sharpe and Nicole Sharpe; 28 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Dolfus Sharpe; sister, Benadine Nadeau and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A memorial gathering will be held Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 6 PM at the Monroe VFW Post 1138, 400 Jones Ave, Monroe Michigan. A private cremation service was held at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, Kentucky, which is honored to have served the Sharpe family.
