William Brittian Napier Sr.

William Brittian Napier, Sr., 69, of Flat Lick, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at the Knox County Hospital. He was born on May 23, 1945 in Pineville, a son of the late Henry Durham, Sr. and Elizabeth Selby Napier. He had been an electrician. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ruth Berry Napier; daughter, Regina Noe; brothers, Henry, Jr. and Howard Napier and sister, Patricia Mitsch. He is survived by sons, William B., Jr. and Lana Napier and Britt Napier; grandchildren, Kelly and Mary Ann Baker, Deidra and Brett Thompson; Travis, Joshua and Mary Napier; one great-granddaughter, Madalyn Michelle Thompson; brothers and sisters, Paul Napier, Mary Alice Lefevers, Donald Napier and Ross Napier and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside memorial services will be at 11:00 AM Friday at Alva Memorial Gardens with Rev. Paul Napier. Following Mr. Napier's request, he was cremated at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
