William Elbert Helton

William Elbert Helton, 67 of Pineville, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at the Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin. He was born in Pineville on July 28, 1958, a son of the late Harold Russell and Evelyn Wiggins Helton. William was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching wrestling. William had been a truck driver for Chevron Gas Company.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Matthew Taylor.

William is survived by his wife, Amanda Phipps Helton; daughters, Heather and Bill Taylor, Lisa Helton and Enoch Shoop, and Samantha Helton and Adam Adkins; son, William Helton; grandchildren, Michael Taylor, CJ Smith, Destiny Smith, Christian Smith, Gracie Smith, Shianne Coreton, Arlis Coreton; sister, Debra and Bill Lane; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Private services were held at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Helton Family.
