William David "Bill David" Hampton

William 'Bill David' Hampton, 51, of Calvin, along with his beloved wife of 27 years, Dena Faye Brock Hampton, both passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2016. He was born in Somerset, KY on March 31, 1965 and is a son of Rebecca 'Becky' Pannell Hampton and the late Billy Joe Hampton, who preceded him in death. Bill David had served in the Army National Guard, and was a graduate of Pineville High School, Union College and Southeast Community and Technical College. Survivors include his mother, Becky Hampton of Pineville, sisters and their husbands, Starla and Scott Selby of Richmond, KY, Stephanie and Todd Sulfridge of Richmond, KY and Shannon and Paul Elliott of Pineville; nieces and nephews, Jared, Ryan, Teegan and Morgan Sulfridge; Kylie Selby and Sarah and Paul Elliott and a host of other relatives and friends. Services for Bill David and Dena will be together on Sunday at 2:00 PM at Bell Central School Center with Rev. Astor Simpson. Music will be by Mr. Daniel Carmack. Burial will be follow the services. Pallbearers will be Matt Asher, Scott Dye, James Howard, Tyson Lawson, Paul Elliott, Scott Selby, Todd Sulfridge, Alan Hurd and Robert Boatright . Honorary Pallbearers will be John Brackett and Butch Duval. The family will receive friends on Saturday beginning at 4:00 PM at the Bell Middle School.
