Willard Wayne Cosby, Sr.

Willard Wayne Cosby, Sr., 83 of Middlesboro, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2025, at his home in Middlesboro. He was born in Middlesboro on March 17, 1942, a son of the late Roy and Rhoda Broshear Cosby. Willard was a believer in the Baptist Faith, had been a Gold Gloves Champion and a coal miner.

Willard is survived by his wife, Saundra Holder Cosby; children, Regina and Bobby Goodman, Wayne Cosby, Cynthia Cosby, Jody and Terri Cosby, and Boyd and Debbie Turner; grandchildren, Shannon Hatfield, Courtney Simpson, Jessica Jones, Jenifer Jones and Scott Jones, Danielle Caldwell, Brandy Breeden, Bailey Hatfield, Jaycee Hatfield, Noah Wakin, Brayden Jones, Levi Adkins, Jaxson Caldwell, Hannah Grace Caldwell, Chase Caldwell, Logan Breeden, and Hayden Breeden; 8 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Private services were held at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Cosby family.
