Wesley Byron Blanton

Wesley Byron Blanton, 66 of Pineville, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at the Middlesboro Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Pineville on April 4, 1959, a son of the late Millard “Dicky” and Laura McGeorge Blanton Jr. Wesley was a quiet gentleman, a man of few words unless you knew him. He had been a State Park Auditor at the Pine Mountain State Park.

Wesley is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Jim Brown; nieces and their spouses, Jaime and Greg Bruce and Shala and Cody Ramsey; great nephew and nieces, Jason Bruce, Claire Bruce, Kara Cole and husband, Clay, and Kayden Ramsey; Godchildren, Joshua Kyle Blanton and Taylor Dyanne Blanton Alexander; special cousin, Jim Blanton; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be at 4:00 PM on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at the Blanton Cemetery in Page with Rev. Jim Brown presiding. Family and friends will be serving as pallbearers.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at the Middlesboro Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for their love, comfort, and companionship.
