Wendell Saylor

Wendell Saylor, 77 of Jenson, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Jenson on October 17, 1944, a son of the late Corbett and Pauline Gambrel Saylor. He had been a Grocery Store Owner for many years. Wendell had served in the United States Army from 1965 until 1967. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jackie Eugene Saylor. Wendell is survived by his wife, Sandra Faye Brown Saylor; children, Paul Wendell Saylor and wife, Stephanie, Wendy Dawn Moore, George Davis and wife, Brittany, Nicholas Davis and wife, Haley and Kevin Davis and wife, Melissa; grandchildren, Breanna Howard and husband, Chance, Joshua Saylor, Jazmine Vizueth and Jazlynn Vizueth, Destiny Davis, Gloria Davis, Addison Davis, McKinsley Davis and Anika Davis; brother and sister-in-law, Alva and Lovena Saylor; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Special thanks to Blue Grass Care Navigators nurses and care givers for their compassionate kindness and care for Wendell and us. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ralph Brown and Rev. Darrell Lowe presiding. Music will be provided by Ben and Tracy Saylor. Burial follow in the Saylor Family Cemetery in Jenson, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Saylor Family.
