WARRENA “RENA” COLEMAN GREEN Warrena “Rena” Coleman Green (72), of New Tazewell, TN entered, into her Eternal rest with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, September 18, 2021. She was a resident of Pineville, KY for twenty-eight years and resided in New Tazewell, TN upon moving there in 2015. Rena was born on March 14, 1949 in Fort Benning, Georgia. She was a former member of Mathel Pentecostal Holiness Church in Calvin, KY, with Preacher Blevins as her former pastor. She was a born - again Believer who loved Jesus, her family, people and ministering to others. Through that love, she lived out her purpose and founded the ministry of Under His Wings Family Center and Outreach Center on July 1, 1999, in Pineville, KY. UHWFCO ministries included: A nursing home ministry at Mountain View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Pineville (formerly known as Britthaven of Pineville Nursing Home) where she and her small team of faithful servants of Christ (Sharon, Jeff, Bro. Don and Sister Gail) led weekly worship services over the course of eighteen years for the residents. Annual Christmas Dinners for Homeless and Needy families were held at the Pineville Community Center in Wallsend. This ministry served families for twelve years. A Children’s Church Ministry was held for 12 years; and a Back to School with Jesus Backpack drive for several years, Annual Pineville Easter Parades for 12 years, and several years of Annual Evangelistic Outreach events known as “Hallow Jesus” on Halloween night were held to share the gospel message with the community. She was very thankful and wished to recognize former Pineville Mayor, Robert Madon, for his support in allowing UHWFCO to minister to the families and citizens of Pineville, KY for twelve years. She was a faithful servant of the Lord and led UHWFCO until 2016 when her health required her to retire. She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren Kenneth Coleman and Kathleen Cheek Coleman of Colonial Heights, VA; brother, William K. Coleman, Colonial Heights, VA; step-mother, Betty B. Coleman of Colonial Heights, VA; her son, Kenneth Green, New Tazewell, TN and a precious baby in heaven. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Robert A. Green; sons: Kris Green (Allison) of Pineville, KY, Kyle Green (Amanda) of Pineville, KY; daughters: Kathleen Black (Victor) of Brandon, MS, Karen Morse (John) of Lawrenceville, GA; sixteen grandchildren, Heather Black Usry (Nick), Tiffani Black, Vanessa Black, Ashley Morse, Megan Morse, Dakota Green, Casey Green, Warren Green, Trace Green, Hayden Green, Madison Green, Eli Green, Aubreigh Green, Makayla Green, Kyle (Bubby) Green, Jr., and Isabella Green; and her brother, Robert G. Coleman of Colonial Heights, VA. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Sister Gail Gray presiding. Burial will be at the Kenneth M Green Memorial Cemetery in Pineville. Pallbearers will be Kyle Green, Kyle Green Jr., Kris Green, Brandon Brown, Hayden Green, and John Morse. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Green Family.
