Wanda Faye "Squirt" Hoskins

Wanda Faye "Squirt" Blanton Hoskins, Pineville, went home to the Lord on August 12, 2018. On May 26, 1935, Squirt was born to the late Millard Blanton and Lucy Miracle Blanton. Preceding her in death was James E. Hoskins, her husband of 45 years at his passing on March 23, 2001. Squirt was the last member of the Manito Hill Baptist Church and had been blessed to have attended Wasioto Baptist Church for several years. Squirt was saved and baptized at a very young age and had served the Lord since that time. Squirt was also preceded in death by her oldest son, Ronald James Hoskins and her brother, Millard Jr. "Dickie" and Hugh and sisters, Paula Gay and Doris. Surviving Squirt are her sons, Roger Alan (Jackie) of Pineville, Rodney Estill (Marlene) of Corbin; granddaughter and baby, Kaylia Hoskins that lived at home with her; granddaughters, Krystal (Josh) Bunch of Williamsburg, Brittany Napier of Corbin, Megan Dawn Napier of Corbin and Donovan Shane Napier of Pineville and Elizabeth (Jon) Lucas of Pineville and eight great-granddaughters and five great-grandsons whom she lovingly referred to as "varmints;" one sister, Clara Jo of Florida and a very special niece, Georgia Ann Pope and sister-in-law, Phyllis Hoskins of Middlesboro. Services will be at 11:00 AM Friday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Darrell Lowe and Brother Lynn Miracle. Music will be by Dr. Elizabeth Lucas. Burial will be in the Blanton Family Cemetery at Page. Pallbearers will be Josh Bunch, Jon Lucas, Craig Saylor, Craig Robertson, Joey Saylor, Roger Hoskins and Rodney Hoskins. Honorary pallbearers will be Jody Green, Dr. Shawn Fugate and Estill Alford. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 until 9:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Hoskins Family.
