Wanda Faye Blanton

Wanda Faye 'Pat' Blanton, 64, of Stoney Fork, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2014 at her home surrounded by family. She was born in Splint, KY on July 31, 1950 a daughter of the late Willie Green and Maggie Wynn Middleton. She believed in the Holiness Faith and had been a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by children, Marcella Bolinger and Frederick Grant Brock; two infant grandchildren and one infant great-grandchild; brothers and sisters, Fredola Day, Jeannette Middleton, Lizzie Wilson, Rosie Amato, Sally Joshlin, Chloe Chamberlin and Dillard Middleton. Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Grant Blanton, children, Donnie Blanton; Rhonda Faye and Jim Chandler; Robin Gail and Paul Graves; Jeffery Grant Blanton and Gregory Zack Brock; grandchildren, Lita Gregory; Tyler Blanton; Kenean Blanton and Jonathan Dozier; very special great-grandchildren, Sabrina Brock, Neveah Brock; Bentley Blanton and Brylee Thomas; brothers, Harmon Middleton; Ralph Middleton; Tom Middleton; Roy Middleton; Angelo Middleton; Ricky Middleton; Shannon Middleton; Tony Middleton and Timbo Middleton; sisters, Condie Griffith; Cookie Duquet; Catalee Hedrick and Jeannie Middleton; two very special friends, Dorie Lawson and Sue Saylor and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 2:00 PM Friday at the Jenson Pentecostal Church with Rev. Kenneth Saylor, Rev. Freddy Johnson , Rev. Demus Couch and Rev. Richard Asher. Music will be by Daniel and Crystal Warwick and church friends. Burial will be in the Blanton & Brock Cemetery, Stoney Fork, KY. Pallbearers will be Gregory Brock, Tyler Blanton, Jonathan Dozier, Kenean Blanton, William Blanton and Scotty Blanton. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 until 9 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center. On Thursday the family will receive friends after 3:00 PM at the Jenson Pentecostal Church. The Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville is honored to serve the Blanton family.
