Walter R Norris

Walter Norris, 60, of Hulen, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at UTMC, Knoxville, TN. He was born in Pineville on August 26, 1953 a son of the late Ray and Mertie Shackleford Norris. Walter spent his growing up years and graduated High School in Milan, Michigan, he resided in Hulen, KY for many years, obtaining a Bachelors Degree in Political Science at the University of Kentucky. He lived with his well loved Uncle, James (Shack) Shackleford. Walter was loved by all who knew him, family and friends alike, his sense of humor was one of a kind. Survivors include his brother; Randall Norris and wife Elizabeth (Missy), nieces and nephews; Joe, Keri, Amber, and Travis Norris, aunt; Corrine Reed, Uncle; James (Shack) Shackleford and numerous family and friends. Walter will be sadly missed. Memorial services will be 8 PM, Saturday, August 23, 2014, at Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Chapel. Following his wishes Walter was cremated . The family will receive from Saturday from 5 until 8:00 PM at Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which were honored to serve the Norris Family.
