Viola Saylor Calloway

Viola Calloway, 93, of Barbourville, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at the Pineville Community Hospital. She was a Christian, a member of the First Baptist Church, Pineville and had been a school teacher in Harlan and Bell County. She was preceded in death by her parents, E.M. and Nora Osborne Saylor husband, Edgar Calloway, sister, Ruby Randall; brothers, Virgil and Vernon Saylor. Survivors include her son his wife, Charles and Donna Calloway; granddaughters; Sandra Moore and husband, Bill; and Amy Bays; great-grandchildren, Bryanna Mosley, Marisa Moore, Joshiah Moore Kaylee Moore and Callie Elizabeth Bays; great-great-grandson Aiden Mosley, sister, Ruth Lloyd; brothers Ralph Saylor and Glenn Saylor and his wife, Jean and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 8:00 PM Tuesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ron Howard and Rev. Dennis Chesnut. Music will be by Donna Calloway. Burial will be Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5 until 8 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Calloway Family.
