Making fishing lures and baits, fishing on the Norris Lake and singing the old country songs, he especially loved doing George Jones and Buck Owens. He was a member of the Masons, Powell Valley Lodge #488, The Eagles Club, Bass Masters, Pro Bass and he was also a member of East Jellico Baptist Church.
