Verna Mae Miller Robbins, 90, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2008 at the Britthaven of Pineville. She was born November 3, 1917 at Fourmile KY a daughter of the late Boyd and Ealon Miller. She was a member of Hosman Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Hershel Robbins, Sr., daughter, Mary Jo Robbins, son, Larry Charles Robbins, six sisters, Myrtle Morgan, Esther Goodin, Effie Sams, Violet Slusher, Ruby Asher and Dorothy Creech and brothers, Howard Miller, Lee Miller and Jesse Miller. Survivors include her sons, Ralph Hershel (Herky) Robbins, Jr. and wife, Rachel of Fourmile, KY and Kenneth Ray Robbins and wife, Sarizel of Tazewell, TN and daughter-in-law, Deloris Robbins of West Palm Beach, FL; four grandsons, Ralph Hershel Robbins, III and wife, Eva of Ghent, KY, David Glenn Robbins and wife, Brenda of Lakeland, FL, Larry Charles Robbins and wife, Rita of Groton, CT and Kevin Robbins and wife, Kim of Oregonia, OH; eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
