Tonya Sue Sinkhorn

Tonya Sue Cox Sinkhorn, 40, of Pineville, passed away Saturday, September 27th, 2014, at the Claiborne Medical Center in Tazewell, Tennessee. She was born in Pineville KY, on August 5th, 1974 a daughter of Belinda Darlene Gray Cox and the late Lenice Cox. Tonya had been a Homemaker. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister Tammy Cox Brock, grandparents, Virginia and Richard Gray and Lillie and Boyd Cox, and father-in-law, Ray Sinkhorn. Survivors include her husband of 22 years, Ray Dwayne Sinkhorn; children, Tyler and Brianna Sinkhorn; mother, Belinda Cox; brothers and sisters, David Cox and wife Tammy, Lenice Cox and wife Andrea, Keith Cox and wife Tina, Sonya Faye Cox and Jeffrey Boyd Cox; special friend, Samantha Howard; mother-in-law, Doris Sinkhorn; brothers and sisters-in-law, Marty Sinkhorn and wife Shonda, and Mike Sinkhorn and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Services will be held at 8pm Tuesday at the Arnett and Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Jackson, Rev. Eddie King, and Rev. William 'Bill' Philpot. Music will be from Debbie Brown, Danny Stewart, Glenda Nunn, Hannah Johnson, Bucky Rouse and Paul Bailey. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at the Brummett Family Cemetery in Sims Fork with Chris Howard, Shawn Howard, Stan Hoskins, Russell Nickols, Bucky Shelby, William Howard, Dylan Howard, Richard Brown, David Gambrel and Cody Gambrel serving as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to help defray funeral expenses. The family will receive friends from 1 until 8 PM Tuesday at the Arnett and Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Sinkhorn family.
