Tony Franklin Lord Sr.

Tony Franklin Lord, Sr., 55, of Pineville, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Baptist Health Corbin. He was born in Midland, TX on February 5, 1963, a son of Pastor Allen and Betty Thornton Lord. He was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy and had worked as an auto mechanic. He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Teresa Diane Lord and a brother and sister-in-law, Allen Dewayne and Donna Lord. Survivors include his parents, Allen and Betty Lord; his wife of almost 30 years, Rebecca Adams Lord; children, Theresa Danielle (Jessie) Lawson, Tony "TJ" Franklin Lord, Jr, Trevis Mason (Kellie) Lord, Talishia Elaine (Tyler) Lord, Tianna Faylene (Zach Leforce) Lord; grandchildren, Jessie Ryan Lawson, Isaiah William Lawson, Noah Walker Lawson, Trevis Owen Lord, Aleah Faith Serenity Lord, Paisleigh Shae Lord, Roman Arioch Lord, Colton Hank Eli Leforce and a soon to be born granddaughter, Angelina Kate; brothers and sisters, Stephen Mitchell (Tina) Lord, Dennis Wade (Teresa) Lord, Melody Faith (Tim) Reynolds, Lawrence Darren (Susan) Lord and Pamela Annette Lord and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 2:00 PM Monday at the Church of God of Prophecy in Wallsend with Pastor Allen Lord and Pastor Tina Lord. Music will be by the church family. Burial will be in Cox-Caldwell Cemetery at Bledsoe with Mason Lord, TJ Lord, Zach Leforce, Jessie Lawson, John Nunn and Tyler Barnes serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Stephen Lord, Brandon Lord, Michell (Mickey) Lord, Dennis Lord, Darren Lord, Derek Lord, Jeremy Taylor and David Red Taylor. The family will receive friends on Sunday after 5:00 PM at the Church of God of Prophecy in Wallsend.
