Tommy Clonce age 69 of New Tazewell, TN was born Aug 27, 1942 in Harrogate, TN. He departed this walk of life to be with the Lord on Sept 18, 2011 at the University of Tennessee Hospital after a long battle with illness. He was saved and baptized at an early age and was a member and ordained deacon of Edward Community Missionary Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents Clay & Ann Clonce and brothers Lewis & Don Clonce.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years - Connie Yoakum Clonce, son Rufus Irvin II, Grandchildren-Adrain & Trey Irvin, sister- Mary (Jim) Bullock of Mooresburg, TN, brothers & sister-in-laws: Neal (Peggy), Luke (Linda), Paul (Shirley), & Kenneth all of Ewing, VA, George ( Evenelle) of Middlesboro, Linda (Paul) Irvin of Speedwell and Pam Irvin of Tazewell, very special nieces Natasha Childress of Speedwell & Ashley Clonce of Ewing and several nieces & nephews that he loved dearly.

The family will receive friends Wednesday Sept. 21 from 7-9 at Reece Funeral Home & Valley Chapel. Funeral Services will be 2 PM Thursday at Reece Funeral Home. Burial in the Shiflet private family cemetery in Speedwell. Ministers: Rev. Mack Daniels, Rev. Ellis Seals, Rev. Egar Massengill . Music provided by: Butchers Gap Singers and Lisa & McKenzie McFall.
