Tishia Helton Slusher

Tishia Helton Slusher, 63, of Stoney Fork, passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at the Pineville Community Hospital. She was born in Beverly, KY on July 6, 1951 a daughter of the late Morgan and Mary Rice Helton Taylor. She had been a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother,William 'Bill' Helton and step-father, Oscar Taylor. Survivors include her daughter, Lana Arthur; brother and sisters, Morgan Helton, Jr.; Bertha and Bobby Wilson and Margie and Frank Manning; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 4 PM Saturday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jeff Baker. Music will be by the Stoney Fork Pentecostal Church. Burial will follow in the Jackson Cemetery on Laurel Hill. The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 PM Saturday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Slusher Family.
