Timothy Leon Skaggs

Mr. Timothy Leon Skaggs, age 55, of Speedwell, TN passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, December 24, 2021. Tim was born November 1, 1966. He was saved at an early age and was a member of Greer’s Chapel Baptist Church. He was a faithful employee of England’s Corporation for 27 years.

Tim was preceded in death by his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Skaggs, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Fletcher, grandparents-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Coy Edwards, and brother-in-law Paul Edwards, Jr.

He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Debbie Edwards Skaggs, special daughter Mary Beth Skaggs, parents Charles and Carolyn Skaggs, father-in-law Paul Edwards, and a host of aunts, uncles, many cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 6PM until 8PM at the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at 1PM Wednesday, December 29, 2021 in the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel with Rev. David Billingsley officiating. Music will be provided by Lee Billingsley. Burial will follow in the Greer’s Chapel Cemetery.
