Timothy Bruce Jones of Kettle Island, Kentucky was born on March 25, 1965 and passed away on May 28, 2021. Tim had extreme pride knowing that he served his country. He was in the US Army Infantry in Ft. Benning, Georgia for basic training. He moved to California where he was in the 7th Infantry Division Light Fighters while stationed in Ft. Ord. He was in both Operation Just Cause in Panama and Operation Desert Storm. He was proud that he was able to continue to bring Freedom to this country that he loved. Tim was a caring person and for an extended number of years provided excellent care for his Mother Marsetta and his Pappaw Jones. He was patient and caring with them and provided a level of love, devotion and care that allowed them to both be happy and live in their home throughout the end of their lives. Tim was proceeded in death by his parents, mother, Marsetta Jones Crisp and father, Edward C. Morrow. In addition to his parents, he was also proceeded in death by his grandparents, John and Mary Jones. Those left to remember his life are his children, Emily Jones and Jacob (Samantha) Jones. His grandchildren, Ezra Cope, Alexis Maggard and Ella Jones. The mother of his children and his lifelong friend, Stephanie Jones. Tim loved his grandchildren and held a special place in his heart for them. His eyes would light up and his voice would lift in pride when he would spend time with them. Tim had a special place in his heart for his very special Aunt Fannie Howard. Also left to remember his life are his siblings, Tonya (Jerry) Cloe, Johnny (Rebecca) Crisp and Collene (Leslie) Wade. Tim had nieces, nephews and a host of many cousins and friends who will cherish their memories of him. Memorial services will be at 6:00 PM on Sunday, June 6, 2021, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Howard and Rev. Rodger Howard presiding. Music will be provided by Bennie Howard. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4:30 PM until the memorial hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Jones family.
