Timothy Dean Hurst, 58 of Colmar, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021 peacefully at his home. He was born in Pineville, Kentucky on March 6, 1963, a son of the late Wendell and Lois Robbins Hurst. Timothy is survived by his children, Jessica and BJ Bracey of Colmar, Jennifer Hurst of Middlesboro, and Connor Hurst of Middlesboro; three grandchildren, Bryar Bracey, Amelia Frye, and Nevaeh Partin; brother, Eric and Tammy Hurst of Middlesboro; special lifelong friends, Kim Roberts, Leland Stewart and family, Terry Quillen, Kenny Quack Quillen, Jack Campbell, Mike Wilson, Mike Good, Kenny Arnett, Bill Keys, Manuel Partin, Arthur Partin, Melissa Hunley, Bobby Robbins, Steve Brock, Chris Lewis, and a slew of others. If your name was left out it was unintentional. Tim was a hardworking man. He worked at England’s for 20 years and then United Medical for 12 years. The things he loved most in life were his children, grand youngens, good food, beer and 80s rock music. Tim’s passions in life were ginsenging, fishing and moonshine. If you knew Tim you know he hates anything normal. He loved watching his UFO shows, absolutely believed in the Lockness Monster, and loved to go to major extremes in order to scare his daughters around Halloween time. He loved the mountains and four-wheeling and his garden. He was a proud cook and loved to feed you. He was a good dad, papaw, and friend. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Hurst Family.
