Timothy Lamar Chapman, 50, of Middlesboro, passed away Monday, November 28, 2011 at his home. He was born in Anderson, SC on April 23, 1961 a son of the late Dennis Lamar Chapman, Sr. and Diann Vaughn Chapman VanNatta. He retired from the Navy after 20 years of service and had served during Desert Storm. He believed in the Presbyterian faith and had worked at DeRoyal as a Material Handler. He loved to paint, garden and sew and had made many beautiful quilts. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his mother and father -in-law, Sarah and Willard Perkins. Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Brenda Perkins Chapman; his children, Rodney Wayne Stewart and Adriana Camden; grandchildren, Rodney Stewart, Jr., Justin Stewart and Duncan Camden; sisters and brothers, Debby White, Beth Chapman, Dennis Chapman, Jr., Maryiah McGill, Dixie Ridley, Kathy Kreft and Guy VanNatta, Jr.; step-father, Guy VanNatta, Sr.; brother and sister -in-law and best friends, Jim and Shirley Bryant; best friends, Anita and Bill Costello; a host of special friends including Matt Delph and Freddie Thompson and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
