Foley Epley

Thomas Foley Epley, Jr., 76 of Pineville, passed away on Sunday, April 9,2023, at the Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin. He was born in Pineville on January 6, 1947, a son of the late Alta Partin and Thomas Foley Epley, Sr. Foley was a member and Deacon of the Faith Temple Church. He was a graduate of Pineville High School and was an avid bowler and fisherman. He worked at the P & G Market for many years and then became the owner of E & E Siding.

In addition to his parents, Foley was preceded in death by his wife, Jenny Daniel Epley; brothers, Jesse “Edward” Epley, David “Sonny” Epley, Thomas “Gene” Epley, Dewey Ray Epley, Jerry Epley and an unnamed brother that was stillborn.

Foley is survived by his children, Angela Epley Evans, Lisa and Mike Akers, and Brian and Kim Epley; grandchildren, Amber and Jeremy Smith, Devon and Kelsey Akers, Noah Thomas Akers, Cooper Epley, Camden Epley, and Sadie Epley; great-grandchildren, Kiara Brooks, Kiely Taylor and Keaton Brooks; sisters-in-law, Myra Epley, Inetta and Rick Nelson, and Wilma and Charley Miracle; a host of nieces and nephews; special friends, Toney Prator and Chuck Partin; and special fur buddy, his dog, Sparky.

Funeral services will be at 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at the Faith Temple Church with Rev. David King presiding. Music will be provided by Edwina Eldridge and Jeff Ralston.

Burial will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, friends and family will gather at the funeral home to proceed to the Pinelawn Memorial Gardens in Pineville. Pallbearers will be Mike Akers, Devon Akers, Noah Akers, Jeremy Smith, Chris Partin, and Matt Partin. Honorary Pallbearers will be Rick Nelson, Charley Miracle, Toney Prator, Chuck Partin and Lenn Neal.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 13,2023, from 5:00 PM until the funeral hour at the Faith Temple Church.
