Thelma Webb 89, of Mundelein, Illinois passed away Monday, September 16, 2019 at the Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, Illinois. She was born in Blanch, Kentucky on December 12, 1929 a daughter of the late Boad and Nannie Roop Baker. Thelma worked as a Mail Room Router at Associated Printers, was a Glass Worker at Ball Brothers for 18 years and turned her hand at pumping gas at a gas station in her youth. Thelma was a dedicated mother, loving grandmother and doting great grandmother. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, James Webb; sons, James Webb Jr., Jack Webb and Bodie Webb; brothers, Guy Carpenter Jr, Charlie Baker, William "Billy" Melvin Baker, and sisters, Pauline Warren, Elsie Bailey, Ruby Goodin and Agnes Alons. She is survived by her children, Guy (Kathy) Webb of Highland, Illinois, Jerry Webb of Mundelein, Illinois and Gail (Ralph) Holst of Salem, Wisconsin; brother, James (Willa Jean) Baker; sister, Lucy Baker along with a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Services will be Saturday, September 21 at 1:00 P.M. at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with the Rev. James Polly and Charlie Carpenter. Burial will follow in the Big Jim Cemetery in Arjay with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 21 from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at 1:00 P.M. at Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Webb family.
