Thelma Chistine Mills

Thelma Christine Mills, 81, of Arjay, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at St. Joseph Hospital East in Lexington. She was born in Page, Ky on April 23, 1941 the daughter of the late Castle Henderson and Maggie Barnett Johnson. She had been a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Lloyd Gudger and Roger Mills; brother, Bobby Johnson; and sisters, Geraldine “Jerry” Smith, Betty Jarvis, Brenda Smith and Lucy Lewis.

Survivors include her children, Shirley Shank, Kelly Gudger, Jr., Mona Smith, Tom Mills and Dean Mills; twelve grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren; sisters, Mona Miracle and Zora “Tommie” Kersey; step-brothers, Adron “AV” Wilson and Noah Wilson; step-sister, Wilma Wilson estranged husband, Larry Mills, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be on Monday at 1:00 PM at Arjay Pentecostal Church in Arjay with Rev. Tim H. Mills.

Burial will be in the Greene Cemetery #2 in the Page Community. Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Visitation will be at the Arjay Pentecostal Church on Monday from 11:00 until the service hour.
