Thelma Daniels Eads

Thelma Daniels Eads, 83, of Pathfork, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at the Middlesboro Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born in Pathfork, KY on November 3, 1935, a daughter of the late William and Josephine Smith Daniels. She was always proud to have been the Valedictorian of her class at Blackstar High School Class of 1955. She believed in the Holiness Faith and had been a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Mathew Eads; son, Walter Wade Eads; daughter, Allison Eads; grandson, Rodney Slusher; brothers and sisters, Clarence Daniels, Betsan Sullivan, Rinda Hensley, Paul Daniels, Rachel Ryan, Estil Daniels, Elizabeth Hensley and Laura Craig. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Kathy and Bobby Slusher, Rhonda and Tim Collins, Linda and Robert Howard and Mike and Laurie Eads; grandchildren, Eric Slusher, Jason Howard, Jonathan Lemar, Aaron Eads, Chase Eads, Allyson Hess, Rachel Collins and Sarah Muncy; nine great-grandchildren; sister and brother, Hazel Lidster and Walter Daniels, special niece, Faye Monroe, her special beach buddy, Pat, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 12 Noon Saturday at the Blackstar Pentecostal Church with Rev. J.C. Craig, Rev. Jerry Collins and Rev. Ron Oplinger. Music will be by the Church Family. Burial will be in the Saylor Cemetery at Pathfork with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 until 9 PM at Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Eads Family.
