Thelma Ciferri

Thelma Saylor Ciferri, 80, of Pineville, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at the Continue Care Hospital in Corbin. She was born in Red Bird on November 18, 1936 a daughter of the late Rev. Johnny and Eliza Jones Saylor. She was a member of Crockett-Saylor Pentecostal Church and had worked in manufacturing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Conrad Ciferri; two sons, Oakland North and Conrad Ciferri, Jr.; sisters, Delia Marie Collett and Phoebe Saylor. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Velvie and Grant Blanton, Paul and Leisha Ciferri, John Ciferri, Grace and Charles Collett, Walter and Michelle Ciferri; thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters, Elmer Lawson, Ray Saylor, Farmer Saylor, R.J. Saylor, Chesney Brock, Anna Lee Saylor and Myrtle Jean Saylor, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 1:00 PM Friday at the Crockett Saylor Pentecostal Church with Rev. Ronnie Hoskins, Rev. Richard Asher and Rev. Tommy Elliott. Music will be by the Church and Family. Burial will be in the Ciferri Cemetery at Beverly. Pallbearers will be Dalton Ciferri, Travis Ciferri, Shelby Collett, Harold Dean Collett, Jacob Welborn, Charles Maples, Jr., Chris Saylor, Joe Sanders and Dan Swenson. The family will receive friends on Wednesday after 1:00 PM, all day Thursday and until the funeral hour on Friday at the Crockett Saylor Pentecostal Church.
