Teresa Jefferson

Teresa Diane Jefferson, 51, of Pineville, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY. She was born in Pineville on March 27, 1957, the daughter of the late Mary M. Shannon Jefferson and Charles Quincy Jefferson. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Teresa had worked in Social Services at Bell Whitley for several years until her retirement. A Community Advocate, Teresa was a volunteer for her church and many organizations including the Pineville Athletic Club, Pineville Downtown Association and the Kentucky Mountain Laurel Festival. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Jefferson. Survivors include her sons, Brandon Alexander and Antonio Cassell, II; sisters and brothers, Mary E. Jefferson, Lisa A. Cassell, John Grant F. Jefferson and his wife, Mitzi; and Charles C. Jefferson; special cousin, Rhonda White, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many very special friends.
