Tara Kay Lawson

Tara Kay Lawson, 43 of Lily, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021 at Baptist Health in Corbin. She was born in Covington, Kentucky on July 22, 1977, a daughter of Darence Jack Lawson and Belinda Kelly Lawson. She was preceded in death by her grandfather and grandmother, Willie and Ruth Kelly; grandmother, Joanna Sizemore; and uncles, Estill Lawson and Kenneth Kelly. Tara is survived by her mother, Belinda Kelly Lawson; father, Darence Jack Lawson; sister, Elisha Garner and husband, Bruce; brother, Kyle Lawson; care-takers, Travis and Rhonda Gray; grandfather and grandmother, Herman and Linda Lawson; aunts and uncles, Daisy Wells, Randy and Teresa Dixon, Wilma and Lowell Devers, Ena and Dwight Mays, Sharon Lawson Brock, Lavona and Paul Lancaster, and Vickie Lawson; best friend, April Nation; very special friend, Courtney Wilson and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside service will be at a later date at the Sadieville Cemetery in Sadieville, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 8, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Lawson Family.
