Sylvia Jane Price

Sylvia Jane Brock Price, 78 of Pineville, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022, at the Pineville Community Health Center. She was born in Mill Creek on July 23, 1943, a daughter of the late Marcus Edward and Martha Lock Brock. Sylvia was a member of the First Christian Church in Pineville and had been the Executive of Housekeeping at the Pineville Community Hospital. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Fletcher. Sylvia is survived by her husband, Donald Lee Price; daughters, Diana Anderson and Amy Wilson and her husband, Matt; son, Marc Price and his wife, Barbara; grandchildren, Katelin Bowling-Happy and her husband, Turron, Meredith Bowling, Samantha Bryant and her husband, Eric, Marcus Price and his wife, Haley, Ryan Price, Lauren Price, and Jacob Swisher; ten great-grandchildren; sisters, Beth Floyd, and Carolyn Jarrett; brother, Marcus Edward Brock, Jr. and his wife, Cathy; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at the First Christian Church in Pineville with Rev. Jerry Combs presiding. Music will be provided by Mickey Wilder. Entombment will follow at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens in the Mausoleum. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the First Christian Church in Pineville.
