Susan Marie Slusher

Susan Marie Edman Slusher, 71 of Pineville, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2026, at the Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. She was born in Lima, Ohio on May 30, 1954, a daughter of the late Irvin and Helen Stadler Edman. Susan had been a seamstress and a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Monroe Blackburn Slusher.

Susan is survived by her children, Monroe B. Slusher, II, Steven Slusher, Helena Slusher, and Alien Michael Slusher; special grandchildren, Brooke, Donna, Adrian, and Damien; special great-grandchild and her baby, Wysteria; sister, Sally Gossard; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
