Sudie Brock

Sudie Burnett Brock, 88 of Pineville, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023, at the Tri State Health & Rehabilitation Center in Harrogate. She was born in Stinking Creek on October 6, 1934, a daughter of the late McKinley and Mandy Smith Burnett. Sudie had been a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Robert Brock; daughter, Robin Ann Brock; grandchild, Leslie; and siblings, Rosmond Burnett, Charles Burnett, Bige Burnett, John C. Burnett, Jerry Burnett, and Virginia McGeorge.

Sudie is survived by her son, Mark Brock and wife, Sherry; daughter, Bobbi Sparks and husband, Donald; grandchildren, Lindsay, Justin, and Melissa; great-grandchildren, Zachery, Holly, Cassie, and Lillie; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. David Rice and Rev. Gary Cornelius presiding. Burial will follow at the Brock-Burnett Cemetery in East Pineville with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
