Steve Elliott

Steve Elliott, 52 of Straight Creek passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2012. He was born in Pineville on June 26, 1960 and was the son of Pearl and Velma Burton Elliott. He was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend that will be a precious memory to those he left behind. Steve had worked as a coal miner. He was preceded in death by his mother, Velma Elliott, brother, Ronald Elliott and sister, Joann Sams. Survivors include his daughter, Stephanie Elliott and her mother, Kathy McClaster and grandchildren, Jonathyn Elliott and McCallie Elliott, who were the joy of his life, all of Dowagiac, MI; father, Pearl Elliott of Straight Creek; brothers, Rick Elliott and wife, Louise, Danny Elliott and wife, Vivian all of Harrogate; a loving sister, Tammy Hinds and husband, Wallace of Straight Creek; special to his heart, Tamera Hinds, Lexia Smith and Sierra Hinds, sister-in-law, Charlene Elliott; brother-in-law, Kenneth Sams and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
