Steve Dewayne Cain

Steve Dewayne Cain, 61 of Calvin, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at his home. He was born in Pineville on July 31, 1960, a son of the late Bill and Dorothy Messer Cain. Steve attended the Blue Ridge Baptist Church and had been a Heavy Equipment Operator in the coal mines. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, David Hensley, Johnny Hensley, Loretta Hensley Powers, Willy Hensley, Diane Hensley, and Margaret Bruce. Steve is survived by his wife of 24 years, Juanita Hickman Cain; children and their spouses, Stephanie and David Napier, Travis and Renee Cain, Tim and Bekah Cain, John and Jessica Harness, and Jamie and Robin Smith; grandchildren, Cassidy Napier, Kailey Napier, Kylie Cain, Luke Cain, Campbell Cain, Croley Cain, Cierra Smith, Mackenzie Smith, Caleb Harness, Jase Harness, and Hamptyn Cain; siblings, Arnold Hensley, Tim Kilgore, Karen Brock, Roberta Leger, Larry Cain, and Billy Cain. Private cremation services were held at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Cain Family.
