Stella Cox

Stella Caldwell Cox, 77, went home to be with her Lord following a long illness, on March 10, 2015 at her home. She was born on June 6, 1937 in Bell County, KY the daughter of the late Joe Caldwell and Elizabeth Forester Caldwell. She was of the Holiness Faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Cox. Two brothers, Elihue Caldwell and Gervous Caldwell, a special sister-in-law Marie Cox Caldwell. Left to mourn her passing are the following members of her family, one daughter and son-in-law, Charlene and Timmy Abner, two sons, Darrell Cox and David Cox, all of, Stoney Fork, one grandson, Cody Abner, Stoney Fork, two granddaughters, Karlee Cox and Kaleigh Cox, both of Stoney Fork, four brothers, Sol Caldwell, Stoney Fork, James Caldwell, Arjay, Joe Caldwell, Jr., Kettle Island and Wiley Caldwell, Mill Creek, two sisters, Martha Cox, Arjay and Loretta Sullivan, Kettle Island. A very special sister-in-law, Loretta Caldwell and special friend, Lily Brock and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be 11:00 AM Sunday, March 15, 2015 at Judy Brock's Holiness Church at Stoney Fork, with Rev. Kenneth Saylor, Rev. Joe Caldwell, Jr., Rev. Richard Asher, Rev. Jordan Saylor, Rev. Demus Couch and Rev. McKinley Holland. Singers will be Demus Couch, McKinley Holland, Timothy Couch, Jordan and Deloris Saylor, Lou Ann Helton and Fred Sloan. Burial will follow in the Caldwell Cemetery at Stoney Fork, KY. Pallbearers will be Lou Brock, Bobbie Brock, Stacy Abner, Cody Abner, Earl Broughton, Jessie Lawson and Michael Caldwell. Honorary Pallbearer will be Joe Caldwell, Jr. Visitation will be Friday from 6 until 9 PM at Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel and Friday after 10 PM at Judy Brock's Holiness Church and all day Saturday, March 14, 2015 until the funeral hour on Sunday.
