Mrs. Stella Marie Blakemore, age 95 of Ewing, VA was born January 9, 1927 and passed away peacefully Sunday, November 13, 2022 at the Middlesboro Nursing Home. She was a member of Gibson Station Missionary Baptist Church. Stella loved her church and church family. She also enjoyed gardening and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Britt and Florence (Wolfe) Daniels, husband; Roy Lee Blakemore.
She is survived by her son; Roger Blakemore and wife Michelle, granddaughter; Tyler Shrewsbury and husband Travis, great grandchildren; Lillie Shrewsbury and Benton Shrewsbury. She is also survived by cousins and a host of loving friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Stella Blakemore will be conducted Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 1PM in the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel with Pastor Preston Smith officiating. Music will be provided by Jimmy Barnes.
Private interment will be at Shoffner Cemetery.
