Sie Saylor

Sie Saylor, 83, of Beverly, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2009 at his home. He was born in Cow Fork, KY on July 4, 1925 a son of the late Lewis and Ellen Roark Saylor. He had been a timber cutter and coal mine night watchman. He had served in the U.S. Navy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Ben Saylor and sisters, Sarah Helton and Lucy Jackson. Survivors include his wife of 17 ½ years, Joan Brinn Saylor, children, Walter Saylor of Berea, Irene Brock of Beverly, June Cook of Mt. Sterling and Lewis Saylor of Arjay, eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren, sisters, Grace Helton and Hazel Napier, special friends, Jeff and Shirley Giufuglione and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
