Shirley Jean Wilcox

Shirley Wilcox, 76 of Middlesboro, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at her home. She was born in Middlesboro on July 12, 1944, a daughter of the late Roy and Myrtle Mathis. Shirley was a cancer survivor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Wilcox, Jr.; her son, Robert Wilcox; her grandchildren, Michael Joseph Wooten and Hayden Kale Wilcox; her sister and brother-in-law, Eula and Kenneth Partin; and her niece, Sherry Partin Taylor. She is survived by her children, Kirby Wilcox, Ricky Wilcox, Michael and Vera Wilcox, Melissa and Letcher Cox, James Wilcox, Sandra Howerton, and Allen and Michelle Wilcox; her grandchildren, Beth Wooten, Lauren Howard, Tyler Baker, Lindsey Wilcox, Brandon Fuson, Noah Wilcox, Caleb Wilcox, Winter Wilcox, Roman Wilcox and Joe Reason; her great-grandchildren, Cordell Miracle, Hailey Brock, Mattie Howard, Ethan Howard, Dillan Wooten, Mylee Grace Wooten, MaKayla Wooten, and Jordan Baker; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
