Shirley ?Peanut? Cox, 52 of Pineville, passed away on April 30, 2011 at his home. He was born in Jenson, KY on August 9, 1958 the son of Flossie Hubbard Cox and the late Pearl Cox. Peanut believed in the Baptist faith and had worked as a mechanic for H&N Trucking. He had also served his country in the United States Army. In addition to his mother, survivors include his son, Pearl Cox and wife, Tina of Middlesboro; grandchildren, Breana, Braden and Connar Cox and Kayliegh Hoskins; brothers and sisters, Eddie Jackson of Speedwell, TN, Lula Sinkhorn of Pineville, Joe Cox of Pineville; Pearl Cox, Jr. of Jenson and Ollie Daugherty of Bradfordtown; a special friend, Joyce Frazier, best friend, Dewey and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
