Shirley McKinney Couch, age 76, passed away May 14, 2008 at her home in Cumberland Gap, TN. Born October 18, 1931 in Claiborne County a daughter of the late Francis and Agnes Chumley Gordon.

She was a member of Gap Creek Baptist Church. A fifty-year member and past matron of the Order of the Eastern Star. She had a zest for life and loved people.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by; husbands, Mannie McKinney Jr. and Ernest Couch; and brother, Marvin Gordon.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 17, at Gap Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Anthony Mountain and Rev. Terry England officiating. Music by Katie Chumley and Jane Cox. Burial in the Harrogate Cemetery. Pallbearers: Dennis Chumley, Danny Chumley, Freddie Chumley, Eddie Chumley, Carl Rickets, Chuck Pineyard and Kelly Chumley.
