Sharon Collett

Sharon Diann Gibson Collett, 62 of Pineville passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at the Pineville Community Hospital. She was born in Pineville on June 6, 1950, and is the daughter of Paul B. and Betty Ruth Wilson Gibson. Sharon was a lifelong member of the Moss Chapel Baptist Church and had been a homemaker. She was a Girl Scout Troop Leader for more than twenty years and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include her husband of over 45 years, Luther D. Collett; children, Paula R. Collett Greene, Luther Joshua Collett, and Shaynina Love Collett Gambrel and husband, Jeremy; grandchildren, Hope Nicole Greene, Faith Noel Greene, Isaiah Hunter Gambrel, Isaac McKinley Gambrel and Noah Skylar Gambrel; parents, Rev. Paul B. and Betty Gibson; brothers, Randall Bryant Gibson and wife, Trudy, and Terrell Gibson and wife Carolyn; sister, Donna Gibson Stewart and husband, Gary; special friend, Elsie Phipps; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends.
