Sarah Ellen Baker

Sarah Ellen Greene Wilder Baker, 84 of Pineville, passed away on Monday, August 8, 2022, in Lawrenceville, Georgia. She was born in Pineville on May 9, 1938, a daughter of Hiarm and Mary Robbins Greene. Sarah had been a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Wilder; grandchild, Justin Tye; and siblings, Thurman Greene, Weaver Greene, Billy Greene, Oppie Smith, Gertrude Miracle, and Wilma Hendrickson. Sarah is survived by her daughters, Tammy Roark and husband, Billy, Pamela Gambrel, and Patricia Tye and her husband, Michael; son, Steve Wilder; grandchildren, Courtney Roark, Josh Tye, Rachaad Cloud, Corey Whitley, Chante Tye, Dennis Tye, Christian Tye, Junior Nelson, Joshua Nelson, Shelly Posy, Jamie Wilder, Wayne Wilder, and Candace Gambrel; great-grandchildren, Ajiyah Hariston, Trinity Hariston, Ryan Lambdin, Devin Nelson, Aiden Blanchard, Mallory Blanchard, Lily Roark, Cynthia Roark, Kaden Bratcher, Amiah Bratcher, Tamara Tye, Noah Tye, Mason Tye, Olivia Nelson, Jeremiah Nelson, Tyler Nelson, Jacob Posey, and Nicole Wilder; great-great-granddaughter, Aubrey Wilder; siblings, Judy Saylor, Hiarm Greene, and David Greene; special family member, Debbie Tye; and a host of more grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM on Sunday, August 14, 2022, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Robbins presiding. Music will be provided by Jimmy and Sue Johnson. Burial will follow in the Wilder Cemetery in Brownies Creek. Pallbearers will be Dennis Tye, Christian Tye, Junior Nelson, Josh Nelson, Tommy Perkins, Tyler Nelson, and Jacob Posey. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Baker Family.
