Sammy J. Wilson

Sammy J. Wilson, 57, of Siler, KY, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Baptist Health Corbin. He was born in Pineville on August 6, 1961, a son of the late Joe and Coleen Cox Wilson. He had been a coal miner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Arlin Eugene Wilson and sister, Jerry Wilson. Survivors include his wife, Susie Rickett Wilson, children, Sammy Dean Wilson, Maranda Wilson, Justin Moore and Maranda Owens; grandchildren, Case Dean Wilson, Colt Wayne Wilson, Alexis Jade Baird, Abrea Lane McCullah, Brantley Kane Lambdin, Charity Reese Moore, Heidi Rae-Lynn Moore, Madison Owens, McKenzie Owens, Emma Howard and Bentley Howard; brothers and sister, Joe Wilson, Jr., Crit Wilson Stevenson, Susan Jones and Teddy Wayne Wilson and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 8:00 PM Tuesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel with Rev. Lonnie Maiden. Music will be by friends. Following the service, he will be cremated at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 until 8:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Wilson Family.
