Ruth Hopkins Steele

Ruth Hopkins Steele, 79 of Pineville, formerly of Arjay passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at the Pineville Community Hospital. She was born in Fields, Kentucky on October 25, 1931, and was the daughter of the late Edd and Irene Messer Hopkins. Ruth was a believer in the Pentecostal faith and had worked in a hospital kitchen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Steele, Sr, son, Howard ?Johnny? Steele, Jr. and brother, Reed Hopkins. Survivors include her brothers, Ray Hopkins and wife, Sharon of Middletown, NY and Rodney Hopkins and wife Norma of Fourmile, KY; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, Doris Hopkins (Peter) Zicari of Cleveland, OH, David (Terry) Hopkins of Newburg, NY, Donald (Bolnea) Hopkins of Fallsburg, NY, Diane Hopkins (Robert) Phillips of Charlotte, NC, Clair Hopkins (Tom) Vigna and their children, Courtney and Kyle of Poughkeepsie, NY, Sue Ann Hopkins (Johnny) MacQuilken and their son Billy Bridge of Florida, Daniel Hopkins and children, Brooke and Dustin of Indiana, LaDonna Hopkins (James) Rupp and sons, Ryan and James of Florida, Margaret Hopkins (David) Fuson of Knoxville, TN, Debbie Hopkins Knuckles of Pineville, KY and Patricia Hopkins (Rick) Mason and their son Richard of Pineville, KY and a host of other relatives and many friends.
